Tribute to Uncle Lim

HE was just there lying in his coffin with all his Tan Sri regalia on the body and also on the songkok beside him.
now in front of me lies once was Malaysia's richest man according to Forbes Asia.
His complexion was just so peaceful. Despite the heavy downpour, close friends, former and current political heavyweights in the country came to pay their last respect to the late Tan Sri.
Personally I'm not related to Uncle Lim in any way but he is still the one in my list of people who I have high respect to. What makes him so great? well for one he started Genting by his own and despite being poor, perseverance have really show that anything is possible.
Well, perhaps maybe next time they will not be any Uncle Lim, but that time it will be Uncle Choong =D
*this post will be loaded with pictures I just can't help it but take and take and take all the happenings there, these happened on the first day, media really have the privilege keke.

mutterings

bendera berkibar di angkasa, lambang negara jaya, rakyat sepakat sejiwa, tekad berbakti dengan megah....

the 2020 song we always sung in school come merdeka and patriotic songs came blaringly from everywhere, well does it really exhibit what we have done throughout the years and the current political scene of our country?
Well, yes and no.
All these years since the days from the late Tunku Abdul Rahman days until Tun mahathir days yes they do exhibit what we have been done that really shows us as Maresians (pun intended) and a big NO nowadays, just look at our executive branch that is holding the power of office.
The angkasawan project? space traveller in disguise? astronaut? cosmonaut? no one is really sure what to call him as there's so much versions of the maresian astronaut is called. I'm not condemining about the angkasawan project, by all means go and have it done and bring new technology and knowledge to the people.
BUT
there's always a but and you just look at this article here TheStar
basically daily necessities are rising over the days and hey even flour and wheat is going up now, come to think about it there will be a large chain reaction brewing. Everything goes up, salary will not be going up though, who will be the ones suffering? and here comes the angkasawan project came into the picture. Maresians, sending up a donkey up to space and declaring him as a national hero with the deal of buying some outdated sukhoi planes and with russia sweetening the deal up is not what we need!
WHAT WE NEED IS A HERO TO LOWER DOWN INFLATION RATES AND HAVING A RISING INCOME RESULTING IN A QUALITY LIFE FOR THE WHOLE NATION! (as quoted from Mr. Tang)
Now this is what heroes are made off =D

ok ok enough of my ramblings now lets see where i went that day keke for all of you out there, Planetarium Negara sounds familiar right? but just where is it? most of us have heard of it but well never even think about going there even myself keke

oh ya btw if i did draw ur attention the planetarium is just somewhere near muzium negara
the golden question is where is muzium negara?! lol i'll leave the questiont to you guys to ponder about ahaha

Demo and Grado

fuk looking at the previous post, i screwed up all the margins next time must be able to judge.
and thats not the point for another post though. =)
this is the point-
yesterday was assigned to report on the demonstration done by the GMI which stands for Gerakan Mansukan ISA which was pressing the government to release the detainees under ISA. This is the scoop, for sure nobody can find anything on this in the main newspapers except some small article on it without much pictures.
more pictures..
even Tian Chua the information chief of PKR is present, funnily he was having the time of his life chanting "Jatuhkan BN" ahahaha oh ya on a side note this happened near the masjid jamek station right in front of the OCBC bank. I got shocked too when I knew I was interviewing him before I got his name. =X
the chairman of GMI Syed Ibrahim.
just look at all the onlookers, forgot to add some more details. This happen during mid noon lunch time which also held up the mid noon traffic causing congestion after congestion.

BUT.....this guy was the crowd stealer lol
a mental disordered guy shouting his head off for apparently no reason lolz
at one time he was shouting at me and i was so ugh...stoned ahaha

and our friendly guys from the neighborhood to check on the commotion and intervene
for one when the police wanna tangka him dia cakap he will behave well lets hope so =P

TODAYS DINNER
what do you get when you mix in...

and a packet of spaghetti, this is the outcome =P

muahahah delicious meal hav fun folks =)

Daily routines

Foremost gonna say kudos to the local authorities of my living area.
have been noticing work in progress by the workers and
the build of a walkway for pedestrians and students alike due to a malay school around
no more sunny days for me yea! but gonna shift back to pj soon =(

KLCC
well outings to klcc are mostly fun and nonetheless this time =P. Was assigned to the
Best of Belgium 2007 press conference on thursday. Privileges are seriously abundant having been assigned for things like this lets see what i can list out today.
  • Option of sleeping more is obviously a bliss since the assignment is at 10am! Not rushing to Bangsar by 730 joining the rat race of people muahahaha perfect.
  • Open up your eyes to the world, seriously being a reporter have been an eye opener for me by seeing the world through the eyes of a reporter.
  • one word FREEBIES period.
beside having to listen to sum kuai lou talking and jotting down what he says
its okay where you can just doodle around your notebook when your mind wanders around =)
and this kuai lou is not sum ordinary kuai lou with big cock
this one is the Ambassador of the Royal Belgium Embassy lol

and now......the last thing

freebies! and this time it's not Belgian chocolates or beer it's Belgian biscuits called almond thins. Once I got back to the office sharing is a virtue k? i did share with my colleagues, using the Coke quote ASK for More!! the crunchiness and taste mmmmmm it have been a long time since I makan such delicious biscuit.
